ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – At only 10 km from the Adriatic Coast, Villa Candelara is a beautiful private villa with pool located in Le Marche region. Its combines the peace and calm of a country house with the comfort of being close to the seaside city of Pesaro, rich in events and shows, including the famous Rossini Opera Festival. The property is entirely fenced-in and surrounded by a lovely garden with around 30 olive trees, providing the highest privacy during the stay. Guests can benefit of a porch furnished with table, chairs and outdoor sofas to enjoy relaxing moments and of a nice swimming pool.
The villa is on different levels and has been furnished by its owners in simple but functional style, as with most beach houses. On the ground floor there is a living room and a wide kitchen with fireplace as decoration only, giving direct access to the porch. Going down a few steps there’s the sleeping area, composed of a double bedroom with small balcony, a double bedroom with single bed and balcony, a twin bedroom, a small bedroom with single bed and a large bathroom with bath. Through a staircase from the living room you reach the upper floor with a large double bedroom where it’s possible to add an extra single bed, a bedroom with three single beds and a bathroom with shower. Going up few stairs there is a wide relaxing area with sofas and tv corner. The basement of the villa is composed of a laundry area and a bathroom with shower.

The history of Candelara is linked to candles after which this town is named. In the last weekends of November till the first weekend of December, in the occasion of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception the town hosts the event Candles in Candelara, the first market in Italy dedicated to candles, rich in shows, entertainment and specialties of the local cuisine. The market takes place in the whole centre of this charming borgo and out of its walls with more than sixty wooden houses where handicrafts of all kinds are exposed. Peak of the event is the cut of artificial lighting. There are two switching off, the first at 17,30 and the second at 18,30, each one lasting 15 minutes. From Candelara you can easily reach the cities of Pesaro and Fano, rich in events and festivals.
Wir hatten eine schöne erholsame Zeit in der Villa. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Felder ist beeindruckend und die Lage einfach toll wenn man für sich sein möchte. Im Haus könnte man hier und da mal renovieren, wie die Türen ölen oder die Toilettendeckel fest montieren aber das waren für uns Kleinigkeiten, die nicht so störend waren. Bei der Klimaanlage sollte jedoch geschaut werden, dass auch alle funktionieren, wenn man dafür schon extra zahlen muss. Alles in allem war es eine schöne Zeit und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir informierten den Eigentümer über die Situation der Toilette und er berichtete, dass sie bei Ihrer Abreise sofort ausgetauscht wurde. Manchmal dauern bestimmte Reparaturen länger, insbesondere wenn neue Teile bestellt werden müssen. Die Klimaanlage wurde auch überprüft, sie ging sporadisch, aber jetzt ist sie in Ordnung. Wir wissen jedoch, dass der Besitzer angesichts dieser Unannehmlichkeiten bereits eine Geste der Höflichkeit gemacht hat, indem er die zusätzlichen Kosten für Hunde ermäßigt hat. Unsere Agentur versucht immer, die Bedürfnisse des Kunden so gut wie möglich zu befriedigen und sorgfältig auf alle Bedürfnisse einzugehen. The villa is a beautiful house with stunning views and was very well presented and clean when we arrived. Gianluca is an excellent host who met us on arrival and showed us around and gave us his number in case we needed anything. He also left a bottle of the olive oil his family produces which was delicious on salad and bread! The kitchen is rather small for such a large house but is well appointed with two large fridge freezers and all the necessary equipment and utensils. The pool is cleaned daily and well kept as are the grounds – there are many lovely olive trees to seek shade under. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space for dining both inside and out. The shower in the basement is probably the best of the three – we did lose hot water sometimes, even first thing in the morning and when we hadn’t used it. UK visitors should note during warm weather this is a rural location and attracts mosquitoes! There are also a good few wasps outside – however they are docile and did not bother us very much at all. The property is well secluded with good parking and security gates. The airconditioning (payable locally extra) is very good but is only available in some rooms. This is a lovely, well-kept and maintained villa and our host was friendly and communicative throughout.

Wir verbrachten im Juli 2021 zwei sehr entspannte, tolle Urlaubswochen in Haus und Garten, vor allem im Pool. Dieser wurde täglich gereinigt. Auch sonst sehr gute Betreuung von Ort durch den Vermieter bei allen Anliegen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden
Das Haus ist groß und sauber. Es hat alles, was man braucht und hat hat eine tolle Lage, ruhig und nicht weit entfernt von der Stadt und dem Strand. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar.
Wir würden wieder kommen.
